Dothan still working to get I-10 Connector

A proposed new country music resort, Country Crossing, planned for is planned near to the proposed path of a Dothan - I-10 connector route, but will not interfere with the various choices for the highway construction, according to Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT).

The new construction may have to pay for on-off ramps in order to access the proposed four lane connector, but no details have been worked out.

Dothan has been working for several years to be able to directly access Interstate I-10, for both passenger vehicles and truck delivery systems. The lack of the connector has been a handicap at recruiting new businesses to the Dothan area.
